Easy to follow and understand plus lots of variety
This app is solid. It isnt a "YOULL GET RIPPED WITH MY PROGRAM!!" approach which I appreciate. I dont want to feel like Im watching a WWF match to exercise. It has great info, easy to follow workouts, high video quality and very good explanations of the exercises. Definitely recommend.
Great demos, lots of unique exercises! Why should I pay for a TRX class at my gym? This is much better. I get more personal attention.
I tried a few TRX apps, but this is by far the best. Great set of 21 minute workouts that leave you sweating each time. I play off my iPhone at my gym and the paid instructors watch to get new ideas. Highly recommended.
Two things need to change to make it into a great app. 1st under each exercise it should show which muscles are being worked. 2nd, you should be able to create your own workouts.
Great quick and challenging workouts
I love the variety and quality of the videos. Ive been searching all over for a good suspension training program, this is exactly what I had in mind.
I love this app. Straight to the point no frills great work outs... Effective! The tutorials are simple and clear. I feel like I get the same great work out at home as I do at the gym with a trainer. If the app can also organize the work outs by different muscle groups, for example upper body, core, lower body and then we can also customize the work outs, then I would give this app a fifth star. Other than that, I love this app and thank you for making it uncomplicated
Like other comments, it would be nice to have the exercises broken down into body part groups. Also there are only 7 workout programs in the app. I think several more can be made as an improvement that target specific body parts. Still a great little app to get you moving!
The official TRX app is quite expensive (and maybe worth it) but if you want a less expensive way to get into TRX youll like this app. There are a variety if exercises to get you started with TRX. The videos clearly demonstrate each exercise and there are routines you can follow too. I would have liked a little more explanation for each exercise though. While he shows correct technique, what is incorrect technique and what should you avoid? Its easy to make mistakes when youre first leading TRX. Demonstrating common mistakes with each exercise would be helpful.
This app is awesome. Everything is covered. From beginner (me) to advanced. There are clear instructions on how to do the exercises. Way to go!
I very much like your workouts, but I like to workout for longer than the videos length. I know the video says just to rerun the video again if needed but the you need to stop your workout and rerun the video...is there a way to run a constant sequence of you videos automatically? Plan them before you start to workout? That would be perfect if you could. Other than that great videos!
Love it. Great instruction and slow demos . Thank You!
Does not have workout videos; has bad exercise DEMO videos. No timed functions. No instruction in the videos. Just a watch and pick up what you can model of instruction. You can get the same thing and better for free in YouTube videos.
No updates in a year but it has some solid exercises for the price. You have to skip through the exercises though because he does the full reps. A few to demonstrate would suffice. Pretty helpful though if you are new to suspension training.
Very clear videos with good explanatory narratives on how to perform the movements in "easy" and "more difficult" modes. Looking forward to mastering the basics and then following the narratives and videos to perform the more advanced versions.
I have had the Jungle Gym system, similar to TRX for over a year. I figured out how to do some simple exercises with it, but never got a great workout. This app provides great workouts--three times through takes me about 35 mins, gets me sweating, and really works my muscles.
A very comprehensive, simple to use app that does what its supposed to do! There are helpful videos from buying, hanging, and adjusting the suspension system as well as videos demonstrating each exercise. Then there aware pre-designed workouts that put together different exercises that hit different targets. I find the app quite useful, especially when traveling and throwing the TRX up in a hotel room, park, hangar or wherever. Thanks!!
I took a trx class at the gym and liked it. I bought a trx for home to get workouts in more often. Im almost 50 and dont seem to have any core strength but I have high hopes that this will help. Some of the exercises are too hard for me, but it is something to work toward. The app has individual moves and series of moves in workout. My only suggestions would be t1) have beginning, intermediate and advanced levels 2) note how to have good form and what to watch for that may be bad form.
Just updated my ios9. Its not working. The app opens but does not pass disclaimer
